Mongeard-Mugneret Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots 1er Cru 2019

Vosne Romanée premier cru Les Suchots wines are remarkable, and despite the presence of a Thalberg, or valley bottom, in the vineyard, fairly homogeneous. They are close to Romanée-Saint-Vivant wines, robust, perfumed, and very elegant. Their beautiful colour intensity, of a deep ruby or garnet, reminds one of a Petit-Musigny. Their complex aromas are characterised by scents of spices, ripe fruits, vanilla, caramel, and licorice.

In the mouth, the fine delicate tannins make these wines linger long on the palate and confer a velvety mellowness, making this a wine of great distinction and elegance.
