Some vineyards unfold extraordinary tales, and in late 2016, we stumbled upon just such a captivating vineyard narrative. Nestled at the Seaview terminus of Chapel Hill Rd, it harbors venerable bush vines juxtaposed with a vibrant plantation of younger Grenache. A curious twist of fate once ignited a dramatic chapter in its history when a bird, inadvertently sparking a power line mishap, inadvertently set half the vineyard ablaze. We're grateful that, against all odds, remnants of these remarkable old vines endured, ensuring their legacy persists.

This wine, imbued with aromatic grace and heightened on the nose, unveils a textured, multilayered palate adorned with the vibrant essence of wild strawberries and a tantalizing touch of spice. It's a narrative in every sip, a testament to the resilience of nature and the serendipity of discovery.
