It is made with grapes from vineyards between 70 and 100 years old, from the plots El Negral, La Parada, La Majada, and El Velero, located on a hillside with little slope. Although there are other varieties in the vineyards, only The Tempranillo variety strains are harvested for César Príncipe, with very low yields. The soils are composed of clay and sand at depth, with a lot of boulder on the surface.
