Three words: savoury, seamless and satisfying. This sits in a beautiful spot. Crushes of dried spices, herb notes, plenty of cherry-berry, almost a pepperiness. Earth. It is what it is, and that’s a very good thing. Tannin is dry, earthen, almost chalky, and almost dusty. Savouriness is the lingering impression, but it’s not to the point where it’s in your face. The length is excellent, as you’d expect.
