Moderate reduction and wood make for a difficult-to-evaluate nose. Like the regular cuvée, the medium-weight flavours possess a positively lovely texture thanks to the abundant dry extract that imparts a sappy mouth feel to the relatively powerful and more persistent finale. This is slightly tighter if not necessarily more complex and should also drink well young.
