Dujac Vosne-Romanee Les Beaux Monts 1er Cru 2016
Les Beaux Monts is a Premier Cru climat of the Vosne-Romanée appellation, in the Côte de Nuits subregion of northern Burgundy. This vineyard, like most of its neighbours on this part of the Côte d'Or, is planted entirely to Pinot Noir, making a full-bodied yet elegant wine with ripe fruit characters.
The 11.4-hectare (28.1 acres) vineyard, also sometimes written "Beaumonts", is a patchwork straddling the commune boundaries of Flagey-Echezeaux and Vosne-Romanée (convention dictates that wines from the former are labelled as the latter) at the western end of the vineyards, on the mid-slope of the Côte d'Or hillside.
