Charles Melton The Kirche Shiraz Cabernet 2018

Deep delicious colour. Bright crimson. Highly perfumed upon first look. A very lifted sweet nose, but again as is always the case with this block, the Cabernet (34%) component is highly assertive. A very smooth round palate, with lovely plush mid-palate weight. Again strongly varietal flavours are evident on the palate. Lovely package. I am hesitant to say pretty because it underplays the complexity of the wine. But very fragrant.
