The wines of Dugat Py have always been very powerful (and previously have taken a long time to soften and mature), but since Loic Dugat took over the winemaking at the Domaine in 2015, the wines in the bottle have never been better balanced, while still retaining their grand concentration. Indeed the 2020’s are already showing extremely well at this young age, despite their obvious aging promise.

A brilliant lieu-dit abutting the Champeaux 1er Cru, this is almost always bottled separately by those who make wine from this land. This offers more elegance and finesse than the Coeur du Roy. 65-year-old vines.
