Jacques's respect for the terroir of the Côte d’Or is still on display in his viticultural practices and innovative winemaking methods. Dujac wines are more than just varietally correct – they are intimate travelogues of some of the most celebrated sites on earth. Sons Jeremy and Alec along with Jeremy’s wife, Diana, have been handed the reigns of this famous estate.
The Domaine favours balance and freshness rather than powerful wines. The fine wines are elegant, with supple and well-integrated tannins.
Les Beaux Monts is a Premier Cru climat of the Vosne-Romanée appellation, in the Côte de Nuits subregion of northern Burgundy. This vineyard, like most of its neighbours on this part of the Côte d'Or, is planted entirely to Pinot Noir, making a full-bodied yet elegant wine with ripe fruit characters.
