Description

Museum Release Riesling from Great Southern legends Frankland Estate.

Frankland Estate is without question one of Australia's finest producers of Riesling, and their single vineyard releases from across the beautiful Frankland River region that have put them on the map.

The Poison Hill Vineyard Riesling is so named for the poisonous clovers that exist near to the site, it produces Riesling fruit of mind-bending intensity. This 2016 is sensational.

With the needle-like precision that can only be found in the best Rieslings, this shows so much concentration of fruit it almost hurts. Simply wonderful Riesling from one of the country's finest exponents of the variety, and my kind of poison!

Review

Captivating and powerful from the word go starting with its lime and grapefruit flavours, wet rocks before it moves onto a mineral sensation with chalky acidity. Everything balanced with laser-precision accuracy and a joy to behold.
