This Nebbiolo comes from the vineyard in Fontanaccia in an area called “conco d’oro” in the town of Montelupo Albese and is 380 meters above sea level. The vineyard is 1,68 hectares and the soil is fertile, loose and marl calcareous with a South exposure.

The vineyard is composed exclusively of Nebbiolo, with Italian cloning material ( Michet, Lancia) The training system is Guyot with 5.300 vines per hectare. The vineyard is certified organic. The vineyard “conca d’oro” or “golden dip” gets its name from the colour of the leaves of these vines which in summer and Autumn turn golden.

Maceration of the grapes for 16 days at a controlled temperature of 28°C with several pump overs during the day. After a rest in stainless steel for 40 days the wine matures in oak barrels and “tonneaux” (225 and 500 lt) until it reaches the right maturation, then is left to age in the bottle for at least 5 months.
