With almost 2,000 years of history, the Nikolaihof is the oldest winery in Austria. On 22 hectares, Riesling and Grüner Veltliner are mainly cultivated according to strict biodynamic Demeter guidelines. No herbicides, pesticides, artificial fertilizers, or synthetic sprays are used in the vineyards. The wines ferment on their own yeast and are stored in the historic Roman wine cellar in large, old oak barrels for up to 20 years.
