This almost literally smells of history; the dried apple, pear, and candied-lemon aromas are very much of the kind I imagine a young riesling from the 19th century would have had. Six years of maturation in a wooden barrel have certainly made this medium-bodied wine more imposing, but also more subtle. From biodynamically grown grapes. Demeter certified.
