This wine was fermented in stainless steel open tops and then aged in large (7,500 l) French oak vats for 11 months. Aging in large oak vats, instead of smaller barrels, gives the wine great balance with subtle oak which enriches structure while retaining aromatic intensity and brightness.
A very fresh, modern, and spicy pinot that has abundant red and dark-cherry aromas with violets. Some gentle herbal notes, too. The palate has a very smooth-honed blueberry and dark-cherry core. Smooth tannins and a nice build into the finish.
