Description
Handpicked fruit has always been a hallmark here, reflecting the attention to detail that flows across the whole Shaw & Smith empire. There is also a contained generosity, with green melon, some sort of tropical fruit, and crisp – but not harsh – acidity. Maybe less grassy and ‘typical’ than some years, and feels better for it. It’s not a complex wine, but doesn’t pretend to be one – it’s just a good drink.
