This exceptional wine, crafted from the vineyard's final fruit harvest, undergoes a meticulous process of handpicking and destemming in a 'field blend' fashion to preserve the integrity of whole berries, followed by the initial working of the must through the traditional foot-treading method reminiscent of Portuguese lagars, allowing for the extraction of tannins from both skins and seeds, before it matures in seasoned oak barrels for a period of 10 months.
