Mongeard-Mugneret Nuits-Saint-Georges Aux Boudots 1er Cru 2010

This is much more reserved with a lightly spiced nose that combines notes of violet, red currant, blue pinot fruit and a herbal hint. This is noticeably less ripe and a bit less complex as well on the adequately concentrated mid-palate. By contrast, there is excellent length but the overall impression is that of a perfectly good rather than a truly distinguished effort.
