Deep and chewy wine, all the chalky crushed rock tannin, raspberry and cherry, tobacco and roses, some spice and licorice. It’s bold but firm, with slight warmth, but has the body to cope with it, finish is all grainy tannin and red fruits, with black tea and menthol flavour trailing. Rugged, but good.
