The vines are located at the start of the Côte de Bréchain sector. It has been made in various sizes of barrel, then racked to tank at the following harvest. Lemon and lime colour and a notably sunny disposition, but maintain the Gautheron chiselled approach. There is a huge weight to this on the palate, but entirely in balance with some bacon spice. This is a really good example of Montée de Tonnerre, which definitely encourages the saliva glands.
