Produced using the RIPASSO technique intentionally applied in a more restrictive manner compared to the production regulations, this results in re-passing Valpolicella Classico over the Amarone grape skins just once. The outcome is an authentic wine of the region that elegantly displays a beautiful complexity of fruity aromas and well-supported spicy tones, complemented by good acidity and an appropriate alcohol content. A deep intense ruby red color, with hints of red fruit, spices, and cocoa on the nose. Warming and smooth on the palate, nicely balanced by rounded tannins.
This wine is brimming with a concentrated, velvety stream of ripe red berries and red cherries that dances gracefully across the palate. Towards the finish, it encounters finely woven, moderately sturdy tannins, which provide a delightful counterpoint. Although it maintains a medium-bodied profile, the richness of the fruit imbues it with a perceived weightiness. This wine exudes both liveliness and equilibrium, rendering it a delightful indulgence at present. For those with patience, it promises to unveil even greater nuances after an additional year of maturation in the bottle. Crafted from organically nurtured grapes, it offers a compelling choice for immediate enjoyment or cellaring.
This is packed tight with a concentrated, silky bead of ripe red berries and red cherries that drives through the palate, until fine, quite firm tannins block its path right at the end. Medium-bodied, but the concentration of fruit makes it feel heavier. Lots of energy here, but balance, too. Delicious now. Even better after another year in bottle. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
