Farr Rising Pinot Noir 2021

Wine by Farr is a wine producer based in Bannockburn, in the cool and dry Moorabool Valley in the Geelong subregion of Victoria, South Australia. The estate produces a range of red, white and rosé wines from the likes of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Viognier although Pinot Noir makes up the majority (around 90 percent) of production.

The wine typically shows a soft perfumed nose, which begins to build. The palate has sweetness, followed by mineral overtones enhanced by toasty oak, and firm flavours with a long and savoury finish. This is a gem of a wine, with ageing potential of five to eight years from most vintages.
