From a vineyard planted in 1998 at an elevation of 1,010 feet, nestled just 3.5 miles from the Pacific Ocean, our Pinot Noir thrives in rocky Greywacke and sandstone soils. Located above the fog line, it boasts the warmest microclimate that Kutch winery collaborates with. This wine, crafted with 50% whole bunch, enchants with its sweetly aromatic bouquet, evoking ripe cherries and berries, complemented by a subtle liqueur-like richness and delicate hints of green foliage in the background. On the palate, it reveals its sweet, fruity essence, supported by a firm grip that adds depth to its lush character. An open and inviting experience, it maintains structural integrity beneath the layers of perfumed, sweet, and silky fruit, culminating in a bright and captivating finish. It's truly a wine that embodies sheer loveliness.
From a vineyard planted in 1998 at 1010 feet, 3.5 miles from the Pacific. Rocky Greywacke and sandstone soils, and a site above the fog line that is the warmest that Kutch works with. 50% whole bunch. Sweetly aromatic on the nose with ripe cherries and berries, a touch of liqueur-like richness and some green mulchy hints in the background. The palate is sweetly fruited with nice grip under the lush fruit. Really open and inviting, but with some structure under the perfumed, sweet, silky fruit. Such a lovely wine, finishing really bright.
