The grapes were grown at the Peters Creek Road Vineyard in Kangarilla. This vineyard sits at an altitude of 330 meters above sea level which ensures warm days but, more importantly, cool nights. The cool evenings are ideal for growing Arneis as this slows sugar ripening and helps develop flavours whilst retaining natural grape acidity.

Hand picked and wild fermented in barrel as a single parcel, all in older wood. Thereafter, extended time on lees. Perhaps a little too long. As always, excellent drinking. Dry, fresh, some leesy nourishment suggestive of lanolin, tatami straw, oatmeal and nashi pear, but nothing overt to get in the way with what is on the table. Immensely versatile drinking.
