With the original intention of assembling the best garganega vineyards in Soave, the Inama family have become leaders in the region, while investing in Bordelaise reds in nearby Colli Berici.

In the 1960s Giuseppe Inama, purchased parcels of old vine garganega on the volcanic soils of Soave Classico. His son Stefano developed the fabulously textural style of the Inama whites, with fermentation in stainless steel and small French oak for garganega and sauvignon blanc. With his sons Matteo, Luca and Alessio, Stefano recognised the untapped potential of near by Colli Berici, for the production of elegant, savoury reds from Bordeaux varieties, (cabernet, merlot and carmenère).
