Description

A plot located just below the famous Clos de Tavannes, the Prarons Dessus stretches along the Dheune river at the foothills of the Santenay village hillside. ”Les Prarons” takes its name from the ”Prés Longs” meaning ”Long Meadows”. It reveals an intense nose of blackcurrant and raspberry. The palate is characterized by its rich, smooth texture and remarkable balance. An ethereal wine with aromas of fresh fruit and spice.

Review

Grown on the clay-rich soil of Les Prarons Dessous and racked to tank two weeks ago, to bottle in the New Year. Much denser red-purple with a concentrated, but backward bouquet. There follows a huge density of fruit on the palate, then some more rustic tannins behind
