In 2005, Fabien Coche, a fourth-generation vigneron, took the reins of his family's estate, deeply entrenched in the illustrious winemaking traditions of Burgundy (with a historical connection to the Coche-Dury family until 1940, now under the stewardship of Fabien's cousin, Raphael). In the heart of the region, Fabien's influence is leaving an indelible mark. His domaine stretches majestically across approximately 11 hectares, encompassing diverse appellations including Meursault, Monthelie, Pommard, and Auxey-Duresses.
An exceptional facet of Fabien's winemaking philosophy rests in the family's unwavering commitment to organic viticulture. Since 1998, they have tirelessly championed sustainable and environmentally-friendly practices across their 40 vine plots. Moreover, the vineyard boasts an extraordinary average vine age, with over 60% of the vines proudly surpassing the six-decade mark—a testament to the enduring legacy of the Coche family in the world of wine.
