Licorice, aromatic, mint, ripe cherry, a touch of earth. Big spread of flavour, tannin-buried, fine brick dusty feel, very long, fresh and tannic to close. Big, but beautifully formed

Fragrant, floral and spicy, so pretty, quite gentle, some smoky game meat, rose hip tea notes and general whiffs of stone. Tannins are superb. Succulent, slender texture despite concentration and some heft in flavours, red cherry, dried cranberry, earthiness, clove and more of the pulverised rock character. Feels fresh, savoury, smoky-tea tannins build slowly. It’s a superb wine to savour.
